Creating an account
An account is needed in order to book. Allow two minutes, plus the time to open your mailbox.
-
Open the form
In the top bar, click “Create an account”. If you arrived from an activity page, the link is there too, under the message asking you to identify yourself.
-
Your identity and your password
First name, surname, email address, password. The exact password rule — length and required characters — is written under the field: it is checked again when you save, so there is nothing to guess. A password found in known public breaches is refused, even if it follows the rule.
-
Your contact details
The postal address is required, and it is the only thing we ask for that isn't used by the activity itself: it appears on the invoices issued after each session. The address complement and the phone number are optional — the phone is used only if we need to reach you on the day.
-
Your dog and the three permissions
Your dog's name is optional. Then come three permissions, also optional, granted only if you tick them:
- Taking and publishing pictures of your dog — photos from a walk or a class.
- Showing your first name, your dog's name, or both, on an activity's participant list. That list is visible to signed-in clients only, never to the public.
- Sending you our news: new dates, new activities. Every letter carries a link to stop receiving them.
Granting nothing is a complete answer with no consequence: you book in exactly the same way, and your confirmations, reminders and invoices reach you in every case. All three answers can be revisited whenever you like, from “My account”.
-
The terms and conditions
The terms box is required; the text opens from the footer. The news box is optional and has no effect on your bookings.
-
Confirm your email address
Once submitted, a message goes to the address you gave. Follow the link it contains: until then, the account exists but cannot book. The link works once only, and how long it stays valid is stated on screen.
-
Sign in
The confirmation link brings you back to the site. Sign in with your address and password: the calendar is open to you.
Common questions
- I haven't received anything.
- Look in your junk folder first — that is the explanation nine times out of ten. If it isn't there either, the address may already belong to an account: the message then tells you so, rather than creating a second one.
- The confirmation link no longer works.
- It has expired, or it has already been used. Start the sign-up again with the same address: a new link goes out immediately.
- I already have an account but I've forgotten my password.
- Don't create a second one: your bookings and credits would stay on the first, out of reach. Use Forgotten password
- I'm told I've made too many attempts.
- The form limits how many sign-ups come from one internet connection, to prevent accounts being created automatically. Try again later, or let us know.
- I made a mistake in my name or address.
- These can be corrected, but not from your account. See Changing my details
